HOW-TO STYLE GUIDE: CREATE YOUR OWN STREET STYLE

As fashion weeks are coming to a halt, many of us are inspired by the trends and styles that we see on the most stylish women in the fashion industry. Although many of us aren't able to afford Valentino's feminine flourished tweed coat or Jean Paul Gaultier's cougar inspired collection, it doesn't mean that we can't adopt those looks and transform them into our own.

Some of the most trendiest and stylish women in the world are the ones we see walking the streets of New York, Los Angeles, London and Milan. You don't need expensive clothes to look fashionable. All you need are a few tips to turn your personal style into STREET STYLE!

STEP #1: Perfect Your Signature

Choose something about your style that not only represents you, but makes you stand out as well. If you examine every designer that is on the runway, you will notice that each has their own signature. Think about Burberry and their signature trench coat or Victoria Beckham and her love for black. Find something about you that will speak to people.

STEP #2: Spice Up The Mix

Don't be predictable...EVER! You want people to anticipate your presence and your wardrobe. You don't want to be too "matchy matchy". Always try to mix your style up with different prints and patterns. Shop around for different pieces to complete your look. Don't wear the same brand and don't buy every piece from one store.

STEP #3: Man Up

Menswear has been a huge inspiration among many women's fashion designers. STOP!! We don't actually mean wearing men's clothing. We mean rocking men's inspired clothing such as a sexy vest or a blazer. Adding a masculine piece to your feminine wardrobe will make your look rogue and eventually make your style stand out

STEP 4: Tis' The Season

Style your look according to the season. Never dress as if the weather doesn't affect you. During the winter, pull out your most elaborate outfits, figure-defining trench coats and chic accessories. Give people inspiration to want to dress like you!
